Edward is a Cannes Lions winning, quadrilingual creative professional with a diverse background. He was raised in Hong Kong and has gained work experience through a working holiday in Australia. Additionally, Edward has achieved advanced proficiency in the Japanese language, holding JLPT N1 certification, and has further developed his career in Shanghai, China. With over ten years of experience in the creative advertising field, Edward has built an impressive portfolio of creative works for renowned brands such as Shell, Oreo, Reebok, Unilever, Lancôme, Land Rover, and Perrier.
In 2020, Edward joined Dentsu Creative, one of the world's largest and most innovative agency networks, as an Associate Creative Director. In this role, he has served as a creative lead for notable brands including Shell, Ali Games, American Express and Dicos, across a wide range of media platforms and channels. Edward's exceptional passion for creating engaging and impactful campaigns has been recognized not only by his clients, earning him Best Creative Awards from Ali Games, but also by the industry. He has been honored with a Cannes Lions; a Grand Prix in IAI; Gold awards in Effie Auto, MMA Smarties; and CIAF, along with numerous other accolades in MAD Stars, SHIAF and Beijing Creative Awards, showcasing his creative excellence.
Prior to joining Dentsu, Edward was a creative lead at Oliver, a prominent UK-based in-house agency network. During his time there, he gained valuable experience working closely with client teams as an in-house creative focused on Reebok GC and APAC before joining the U-Studio team for Unilever. This unique perspective allowed him to bring fresh insights and deliver exceptional results for his clients.
Beyond his role as a seasoned advertising creative within agencies, Edward is an active participant in the industry. He was honored with a Silver Pencil at the One Show GC and served as a reporter at Cannes Lions in the same year. Furthermore, Edward has been invited to judge several prestigious industry awards, including the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, International Business Awards, Stevie Awards for Women in Business, and SHIAF.
